One grain-free kibble for a sensitive gut, and one probiotic drop that backs it up. This page works out the daily portion. The Bag explains what's in them.

How this number is worked out
Brit doesn't print a weight-to-grams table for this formula, so the portion above is derived, not copied off the bag: standard maintenance energy for an intact adult cat (70 × weight0.75 kcal/day) divided by this food's stated 3,860 kcal/kg. Treat it as a starting point — weigh your cat monthly and adjust. Ribs easy to feel but not see is the target, not the number.
The two things in the rotation
One dry, one liquid. They overlap on purpose — see the note below.
Dry · daily
Grain-Free Sensitive Digestion
Brit Care · Fresh Turkey & Salmon · 2 kg bag
65g / day
Complete food — this is the whole meal, not a topper.
Adult formula for cats with sensitive digestion and a fussy appetite. Fifty-two percent of the bag is turkey and salmon. Brit's own guidance is to leave it available through the day rather than serve two hard meals — the split above is just a portioning aid so you know when you've hit the daily total. Serve dry, or moistened with lukewarm water.
A five-strain probiotic with inulin FOS to feed them and three enzymes — papain, bromelain, peptidase — to help break protein down. Drop it straight in the mouth or stir it into wet food. Liquid absorbs faster than a chew, which is the whole point of the format.
The kibble already carries probiotics and prebiotics — L. acidophilus at 15 billion cells/kg, plus chicory root, FOS and MOS. The drops add five more strains, more FOS, and enzymes the food doesn't have. That's reinforcement, not a conflict: gut flora isn't a dose you can overshoot the way a vitamin is.
Worth knowing anyway: if stools loosen after starting the drops, that's the usual sign of too much too fast. Drop to one dropper for a week before deciding the food is the problem.
Getting it right
The three things that decide whether a sensitive-digestion food actually works.
Switching onto it
Mix it into the old food and move across over seven to ten days — roughly a quarter new for two days, half for three, three-quarters for two, then all of it. A sensitive-digestion food swapped in overnight will still cause the exact upset you bought it to fix.
Water
Dry food is 10% moisture; a cat eating only this gets almost all its water by drinking. Fresh water always available, and ideally in a different room from the bowl — cats drink more when the water isn't next to the food.
Where this page stops
This is a record of what your cat currently eats, not veterinary advice. The portion is arithmetic on a public energy figure — it doesn't know about your cat's activity, body condition, or health. Ongoing digestive trouble, weight moving in either direction, or any change in appetite is a vet conversation, not a slider adjustment.
